In October 2019 the W.O.I. – Watches Of Italy group has been formed.
The group is an aggregation of Italian entrepreneurs of the watch and accessories industry (boxes and packaging, straps and leatherworks, bracelets, spare parts, supplies, materials, design, machining, prototyping, etc.).
The idea was simply to create a flexible and easy to manage collector of Italian watchmakers – who have devoted themselves to the watch universe with a 360 degree view – for collaborating and getting in touch with each other. To date, the group has already achieved approximately 70 members, including established brands, microbrands, startups, artisans and designers.
The purpose of this group is to create an active network for knowledge sharing between the members and to organize, on a regular basis, watch exhibitions, new models premieres and a national expo, so that each member – especially microbrands – can introduce themself to the sector media, collectors and enthusiasts.
The goal, in progress over time, is to establish an extensive network of Italian watchmakers and to attend together, under the same (Italian) flag, the leading international watch shows.
Following the success of the first edition in 2020, the W.O.I. – Watches Of Italy 2 national watch show, again organized thanks to the patronage of the Municipality of Tortona, will be held on Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th of September 2021 at the “Orsi” Agricultural Machinery Museum, located in Via Emilia 446 – 15057 Tortona (AL). The expo is FREE ENTRANCE and will observe the hours continued from 10:00 to 19:00.
Following the EU pandemic regulations, access will be allowed only if in possession of a Green Pass and a valid ID.
