W.O.J. – Watches of Jesolo 2025: the event dedicated to Emerging Independent Italian and International Watchmaking

With the Municipality of Jesolo (VE) as the sponsoring body, W.O.J. – Watches of Jesolo is an innovative and internationally oriented event that aims to become a key reference for the world of emerging independent watchmaking during the spring season.
The event serves as an important spin-off of W.O.I. – Watches of Italy, the renowned fair dedicated exclusively to the Italian watchmaking industry.

W.O.J. will focus on a carefully curated selection of independent Italian brands and high-potential emerging international watchmakers, offering visitors a unique experience in the world of horology.

Event Details:

Attendees will have the opportunity to discover and, if they wish, purchase the latest innovations and most exciting creations from independent Italian brands and emerging international watchmakers.
The free admission (with mandatory registration) aims to maximize the event’s visibility, encouraging broad participation and providing a global showcase for exhibitors and visitors alike.

During the two days of W.O.J. – Watches of Jesolo, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in various exciting initiatives, including:

  • Sunday Talk: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM with Marco Beltrandi from Tempo & Misura and Finisseur Alberto Nagliero on “The Finissage of Haute Horlogerie”. Moderated by Marco De Luca, professional journalist and Director of Orafix.

La Clessidra 1945: La Clessidra 1945, the oldest Italian watch magazine and the only trade media outlet in Italy offering in-depth coverage of the watchmaking world from every angle with a focus on the latest releases, confirms its role as our Media Partner.

WatchCollectiveTwo (Dubai): During the two-day event, Ahmed Gawdat will create exclusive content and interviews to increase visibility across the Middle East.

DeeTimeLove Show (UK): The presence of Demetrious Frantzescou will highlight W.O.J. across English-speaking countries, thanks to his strong activity on both Instagram and YouTube.

Chrono Girl Life (PL): Anna Kubasik, from Wroclaw, is a Polish content creator and watch enthusiast known for her authentic storytelling and creative visuals. She is also a contributor to WatchGecko Magazine.

Micro Indy Collective (MIC) is an international network connecting microbrands and independent watchmakers with collectors worldwide. Born from a WhatsApp group and active across social media (Facebook, Instagram), MIC builds bridges between enthusiasts across borders. Founded by Samuel Danho and Omar Kabbani, it operates between the Middle East and Europe, promoting craftsmanship, innovation, and dialogue.

WatchManiac: Since 2016, Mattia has been sharing his passion for horology, with a strong focus on microbrands. Initially present only on YouTube and Instagram, he is now also active on his website and TikTok.

Undersea Time: A YouTube channel dedicated to dive watches, offering reviews, in-depth content, and field tests. A go-to reference for enthusiasts and collectors in the sector.

Ghiera Orologi: Founded in 2020 as a digital and social meeting place for watch lovers, capable of appreciating horology with an open-minded perspective.

Tempo e Misura by Marco Beltrandi: A comprehensive look at horology, without preconceptions or snobbery, for those who wish to deeply understand the art and mechanics of time.

WATCH IT: The TikTok channel “WATCH IT,” curated by Sam, has become a leading reference for watch lovers in Italy. With authenticity, passion, and a genuine style, he explores the world of horology in all its forms, including microbrands.

Ante Meridiem: Alessio, with Ante Meridiem Orologi, has created a YouTube channel that speaks to the heart of watch enthusiasts, focusing on microbrands and presenting them with an artistic eye, aiming to deliver refined and high-quality visuals. He is also active on Instagram and TikTok.

Segnatempo: Michele founded “Segnatempo” to create a platform for spreading watchmaking culture through his blog, but also to sell or trade his vast vintage collection. He has followed Watches of Italy since its very first edition and has always produced outstanding reports.

I Calibri di Giorgio: Giorgio Cigna is a long-time collector who loves to meticulously study the history and architecture of movements. He balances his passion for watchmaking with his hobby of photography. He has followed and documented every edition of Watches of Italy through his images.

Cerchio del Tempo is a group of italian collectors emerging as a key reference point for watch enthusiasts of all levels. The community is active on Telegram, Instagram and Facebook, offering spaces to learn, share, and discuss, with room for watches from all brands and a dedicated section for buying and selling.

Journalists from L’Orologio, the monthly magazine directed by Dody Giussani, will be present to produce content and interviews with exhibiting brands. Founded in 1992, L’Orologio is the benchmark publication for Italian watch collectors and enthusiasts. The magazine is at the center of a media network that, through web and social platforms, supports and gives visibility to all major watchmaking events – including Watches of Italy, which it has followed since its very first edition.

Swiss Creative Lab: A unique opportunity for exhibitors to showcase their watches in a dedicated “Made in Italy” section at the “Art & Watches” showroom curated by Carlo Enea Naldi in Risch-Rotkreuz-Zug (CH).

Getting to Jesolo: tips and routes

Reaching Jesolo from Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE):

1. Direct Bus
– Line: ATVO Marco Polo Airport-Jesolo Lido (bus station)
– Duration: About 35 minutes
– Frequency: Every hour
– Cost: Less than €10
– Where to board: Just outside the airport exit; follow the “Bus” signs
– Tickets: Available online (ATVO website), at ticket machines, or at the ATVO desk in the arrivals area

2. Taxi or Private Transfer (NCC)
– Duration: Around 35 minutes
– Cost: Starting from approx. €50–60 (duration & cost depends on traffic)
– A convenient option, especially if you have a lot of luggage or arrive in the evening/night

3. Car Rental
– Available at the airport: Avis, Hertz, Europcar, etc.
– Route: Follow SS14 through Tessera-Portegrandi-Caposile to reach Jesolo
– Duration: About 35 minutes
– Be aware of heavy weekend traffic in summer!

4. Via Venice City Center + Ferry (scenic, longer option)
If you’d like to pass through Venice:
– Take a bus or water taxi to Piazzale Roma.
– Then an ACTV vaporetto (water bus) to Punta Sabbioni.
– Finally, take an ATVO bus or taxi to Jesolo.
– This is a much longer but very scenic route (not recommended if you’re in a hurry, great if you’re sightseeing)

5. Train
Jesolo doesn’t have its own train station.
The closest railway stations are San Donà di Piave-Jesolo and Venezia-Mestre, both well connected to Jesolo by ATVO buses.

Option 1: Train to San Donà di Piave-Jesolo
– Train: From Venice Santa Lucia or Mestre, take a regional train to San Donà di Piave-Jesolo. The ride takes around 35–40 minutes.
– Bus: From the station, take an ATVO bus to Jesolo (approx. 30-minute ride)

Option 2: Train to Venezia-Mestre
– Train: Venice Mestre is a major railway hub served by regional, Intercity, and high-speed trains (Frecciarossa, Italo).
– Bus: From the station, take an ATVO bus directly to Jesolo (about 1-hour journey)
